But an Elephant
The young man
Whose first offer of love was rejected
Now believes that if he had heard
The last few words
His life would have been
A total failure.
The way the consequences
Of Kurukshetra would have been different
If Dronacharya had heard
The last few words of Yudhisthira.
The Heart of Love
I saw beauty
In a pair of disappointed eyes.
The heart stumbled over.
The smile that did not
Quiver the lips
Pierced the heart.
