Dependence Does the green disappear With the snow Shrouding The grassy plain? A squirrel Is looking desperately To nibble At the leaves of grass. Wretched he Doesn't find The grass is buried Deep inside the snow. The snow cannot devour The green It will rejuvenate After a soft and gentle Patter of rain. But the greed of man Their aggression and noise Are ravaging The sky and the air like anything Will the green survive? If it won't Will the man survive?
