A Poem by Harekrishna Deka

After Listening to a Thumri

You are the song you sing

Its very stature
And the song you sing, you are
Entranced, I am enraptured too
By you, or is it your song?
The song's within you
You're its essence
See the time I needed to get it

A complex import of a simple vision

    1. Sorry, I am enraptured by the original Deka. Maybe my poverty in the language translated into.
